Hadar

The best australopithecine skeletons are the famous 'Lucy' from Hadar, Ethiopia and the new finds from Sterkfontein in South Africa. Lucy is an older fossil, dating from around 3.5 million years ago and is a specimen of Australopithecus afarensis, one of the more lightly built species. (Walking With Beast, BBC Home Entertainment)
