 Still needs water to transport gametes.

 Develop specialized cells to:

• Gametes can now move by wind.

• Gametes can now spread into new areas where water does not move.

 Flowers developed to:

• Attract insects so,

 Insects now carry pollen from flower to flower.

 Do not have to make as much pollen to guarantee pollination.
